GBS@Mayang, formerly Mayang Mall, is a revitalized commercial property in Bayan Baru, Penang, transformed by the Penang Development Corporation (PDC) into a Global Business Services (GBS) hub. Completed in 2018 after a RM10 million refurbishment, the four-storey building offers approximately 127,000 square feet of office space and meets MSC Malaysia Tier 1 Cybercentre standards. It houses prominent multinational corporations such as Jabil, Swarovski, Tech Mahindra, Siemens, StarFive, Bitsilica, and Synapse Design, employing around 1,200 professionals in GBS, integrated circuit (IC) design, and research and development (R&D) activities. This initiative underscores Penang's commitment to fostering a dynamic ecosystem for digital innovation and solidifies its position as a premier GBS hub in Malaysia.

GBS@Mahsuri, a two-story structure in Bayan Lepas, Penang, was finalized on October 1, 2022. With a total area of 102,452 square feet and a net leasable space of 80,116 square feet, it occupies a 3.1-acre plot of land. Impressively, even before its completion, this building was entirely leased to four prominent multinational corporations: Cisco Systems (M) Sdn Bhd, Clarivate (M) Sdn Bhd, Emerald Global Services Sdn Bhd, and Teleperformance Malaysia Sdn Bhd.

Innoplex, situated in Penang, Malaysia, is Motorola Solutions' prominent research and development (R&D) center. It stands as their largest R&D facility globally, outside the United States. Spanning across seven floors, Innoplex covers an impressive 227,000 square feet and is seamlessly connected to Motorola Solutions' manufacturing hub, the Technoplex, via a bridge.

Penang Techno Centre

The Penang SME Centre is situated in Bayan Lepas, Penang, at Plot 105, Phase 4 of the Bayan Lepas Industrial Park. This 4-story flatted factory spans 2.12 acres of land with a built-up area of 166,874 square feet. It provides a rentable space of 129,481 square feet and accommodates 114 car parking spots. Unit heights vary from 3.6 meters to 4.0 meters, and the facility offers two passenger lifts along with one goods lift.

GBS TechSpace is a significant development in Penang, designed to support the growth of the technology and digital services sectors. GBS TechSpace is situated within the Penang IC Design and Digital Park in Bayan Lepas. It serves as a hub for Integrated Circuit (IC) design, research and development (R&D), and digital global business services (DGBS). The building offers approximately 36,000 square feet of premium office space, designed to accommodate up to eight local and international IC design companies.

GBS By The Sea is a state-of-the-art, nine-storey office development located in the Technoplex area of Bayan Lepas Industrial Park, Penang. As part of the Penang IC Design and Digital Park, it offers 294,000 square feet of net lettable space and 830 parking bays. The building is equipped with two 11kV power substations and a floor loading capacity of 5KN/m², meeting Malaysia Digital standards.

The private parking facility at Batu Kawan Industrial Park (BKIP) is Penang's first 100% solar-powered parking area. It offers 100 parking spaces for BKIP tenants and visitors, serving as the starting point for a centralized parking system in BKIP.

The Tun Dr Lim Chong Eu Building is an important landmark in Penang, housing the corporate office of the Penang Development Corporation (PDC). It serves as the headquarters for PDC, which is responsible for the development and planning of Penang’s infrastructure and economic growth. The building includes various office spaces, meeting rooms, and facilities to support the operations of PDC and its subsidiaries.

GBS@Technoplex - Coming Soon

The Penang Hill Multi-Storey Car Park, owned by Penang Development Corporation (PDC), is an 8-storey facility located near the Penang Hill Lower Station in Ayer Itam. It provides convenient parking for visitors to Penang Hill, with levels 1 to 7 designated for cars and the ground floor housing amenities such as a cafeteria, surau, toilets, and motorcycle parking. The building is equipped with lifts for easy access and is well-connected by public transport, including a nearby Rapid Penang bus stop.
